Cornwall Youth Brass Band

Band Brest an Yowynkneth Kernow

CYBB - The Cornish Charity That Helps Young Brass Band Musicians Take Their Playing to New Heights

Band members benefit every year from two four-day residential courses. These are directed by leading conductors from the brass band world, and outstanding levels of performance are achieved in the Gala Concerts that provide the climax to every course.

Archive: Courses, Major Events, First Public Performances, Photographs and Recordings

The Archive is a companion of our Past Members listing, which gives in alphabetical order the names of all players in the band since 1959. Here we give, by date, details of courses and major events in the life of the band since 1959, including first public performances and recordings. You can use the links to see programmes, photographs and who was in the band on each occasion.

Sadly, we have had to indicate by the use of abbreviation that some information is missing. If you can fill these gaps, please contact Tony Mansell. In particular, we need the programmes for the following courses: Easter 1985, Christmas 1990, Christmas 1992, Easter 1994, Christmas 1994, Easter 1995 and Christmas 2000.

We are aware of some concerts not listed here that the band has given over the years. For these please see Other Concerts.

CYBB complies with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
